Auctions Hold Anniversary Sales
Carolina Auto Auction Awards $53,000 at 18th Sale-A-Bration
Carolina
Auto Auction marked i18 years with an Anniversary Sale-A-Bration
on April 16th. The day began with a free breakfast, and more than 2,200
vehicles crossed the auction block, including consignments from BB&T,
Budget, FLD, Flexco, RSA, Triad financial, US Bank, Wachovia and Wheels.
Prize giveaways included two kayaks, an outdoor grill, a camping ten with
accessories, and two jet skis. The day's big winner was Shane Bryant of
Bryant's Used Cars, who won the Carolina Cash Pot Drawing, to the tune of
$53,000.
Attendance
at Carolina's Anniversary Sale-A-Bration topped 800, and, by day's end,
1,022 vehicles had sold.
PIAA
Celebrates 30 Years with Sinatra Tribute
Pittsburgh
Independent Auto Auction (PIAA) celebrated its 30th anniversary with a
two-day event on May 5th and 6th that included an evening of special
entertainment and a record-breaking sale. On Monday evening, May 5th, PIAA
hosted a dinner at the auction for its customers and special guests,
following by Bob Wagner, who entertained the crowd with a tribute to Frank
Sinatra. On Tuesday, May 6th, the auction offered 1,292 vehicles, selling
a record 774 units. Featured consignors included Bowser Group, Kenny Ross
Group, Enterprise, ARI and Leopardi Auto Sales. Every customer attending
the event received a T-Shirt sporting the auction's new logo, and
participated in the end-of-sale drawing for $10,000 in prizes.
Joining
PIAA's dealer customers to celebrate the auction's anniversary were
ServNet colleagues Pierre Pons (ServNet's CEO) and Keith Lelux (ServNet's
President); Harry Beyer of Budget Truck, Tim West of Black Book, Steve
DeMedicis of Auction Insurance, Tim Swift (NIADA President-Elect), officials from Pennsylvania's Independent
Auto Dealers Association and Peter Lukasiak.
"We
were very pleased with the results of our 30th Anniversary Sale,"
said Dave Angelicchio, "and particularly happy to share it with
members of the ServNet family. We are proud of our auction and know that
it will be an asset to the organization."

Brothers' 36th Anniversary Highlighted by Crawfish Boil
Celebrating
36 years in Mississippi, Rea Brothers' Mid-South Auction holds its annual
crawfish boil on Tuesday, May 27 to mark the occasion. Over 2 tons of
crawfish will be cooked in traditional Cajun style and enjoyed by buyers
and sellers from through the region. The auction will offer more than
1,000 cars, trucks, vans and SUVs that day, featuring national accounts
such as Nissan Motor Acceptance, Avis, Budget, Enteprise, RSA, Regions
Bank, TrustMark Bank, AmSouth Bank, Wachovia, Wheels, ARI and Fleet Lease
Disposal, as well as a number of local banks and credit unions.
Chattanooga
Auto Auction Mark's 12 Years with "Sizzling 12's"
"Sizzling
12's" is the theme for Chattanooga Auto Auction's 12th Anniversary,
which is set for Tuesday, June 17th. At every sale since April 22, dealers
have been qualifying for the a chance spin the prize wheel at the end of
the anniversary celebration and a chance to win $120,000. Another $25,000
in game prizes and giveaways will be awarded at the anniversary sale as
well, including a pinball machine, slot machine, fosse ball table, X-Box
360, Air Hockey Table and more.
More
than 1,000 units will be offered on June 17th, featuring consignments from
Triad Financial, Title Max, Capital Toyota, Fairway Lending Corp. Auto
Credit, Herb Adcox Chevrolet, Wachovia Dealer Services, World Omni/Center
One/Toyota Finance, Mitsubishi Motors Credit, Enterprise and GSA.
