Carolina Auto Auction's Recognizes Top Buyers and Sellers at Dealer Appreciation Sale

Carolina Auto Auction's top 10 buyers and sellers of 2012 were recognized and awarded for their achievements at the auction's annual Dealer Appreciation Sale held on Wednesday, December 12. Each of the top 10 buyers and sellers received a trophy noting their success, while the first, second and third top buyers and sellers were also awarded a gift as a token of Carolina A/A's appreciation of their business.

All dealers received a free breakfast before the sale at the auction's in-house restaurant. Each of the top 10 buyers and sellers were recognized and thanked at the beginning of the sale by Carolina A/A's general manager Tommy Rogers and owners Henry and Patty Stanley. Many of these businesses have been in the top buyer and seller list for Carolina A/A before, while several businesses ranked in the top 10 for the first time.

The sale proved to be a success with more than 1200 units consigned and 700 bidders in the lanes. Over 60% of the cars that ran through the lanes were sold and all eight lanes offered a float that day.

Recognized at Carolina Auto Auction's Dealer Appreciation Sale were (top left) Top Buyer-Drivetime with CAA's Marshall Floyd; (right) Top Seller-J & L Motors with CAA's Jessica Peak; and (lower) $8,000-prize winner Quality Chrysler of Greenwood, SC, awarded a check by CAA's Tommy Rogers.

After the sale ended Carolina A/A drew from a list of all of their registered dealers to win cash giveaways. Selman's Used Cars and Cruzin Autos won $1,000 each and Quality Chrysler of Greenwood won $8,000.

In addition to its extensive offering of vehicles from top national accounts such as Santander Consumer, BB&T, Remarketing Services of America, Donlen, Wheels, Flexco and ARI, CAA offers one of the largest dealer consignments in the Southeast.

CAA's sales are every Wednesday at 10 a.m. with a salvage sale starting at 9 a.m. on the first and third week of each month and a Toys for the Big Boys sale every 5th week. All 8 lanes are available for bidding online in real-time through Auction Pipelin, while units on can be purchased at any time. CAA can be followed on Twitter and Facebook; CAA's E-blast through provides up-to-date sales and promotional inforamtion.
