Indiana
and Carolina
Auctions Celebrate
Christmas in July
You may not see snow on the rooftops or
icicles hanging from the eaves…..but it's beginning to look a lot like
Christmas at Carolina and Indiana Auto Auctions, as the auctions prepare
to celebrate the holiday in July.
July 16 is the day for Carolina Auto Auction's
annual Christmas in July sale, which this year will encourage buyers and
sellers to "Get Their Game On" with $55,000 in cash and prizes.
Weekly $5,000 progressive cash drawings will culminate on the 16th with a
drawing for the Carolina Cash Pot, worth $35,000. In
addition, the auction will award a number of gaming prizes, including a
four-in-one game table, a bumper/poker table, big-screen TV, basketball
goal, arcade Legends Game, Wurlitzer CD juke box, and Nintendo Wii.
Carolina Auto Auction's staff looks forward to
welcoming an enthusiastic crowd on sale day, when more than 2,000 vehicles
are expected to cross the block. Featured consignors will include
BB&T, Budget, CitiFinancial Auto, FLD, Flexco, RSA, Triad Financial,
US Bank, Wachovia Dealer Services, and Wheels, Inc.
The action will continue to heat up through
the end of the month, as Indiana Auto Auction prepares for Christmas Eve
in July on July 24th. Reminding its dealers that "Tis Better to buy
so you can receive," Indiana Auto Auction has been holding Secret
Santa early-bird drawings at its Thursday sales since June 26, giving away
a variety of prizes, including gas cards, mp3 players and digital
cameras.
On
Thursday, July 24, Indiana Auto Auction pulls out all the stops with more
than 800 units set for the sale and over $15,000 in prizes. The auction
will introduce a new consignor to its sale lineup: Wheels Inc., which will
be joined by ARI, VRS, RSA, Avis/Budget Group, Enterprise, Donlen, Flexco
and Emkay. To beat the heat, AFC will be serving sno-cones to the dealers,
and at the sale's end drawings will be held for a jet ski, cooler radios,
a firepit, portable grill and Nintendo Wii. Dealers attending the sale
will also participate in a chance to win $100,000 in Indiana's
"Secret Santa Prize Box".
Carolina Auto Auction offers the largest
dealer consignment in South Carolina and one of the largest in the
Southeastern United States. With a registered dealer base of over 6,000
dealers, Carolina issues more than 725 bidder badges every Wednesday for
the regular lanes that begin at 10:00 AM. Indiana Auto Auction holds its
weekly sales on Thursdays. The auction sells on eight lanes, offering over
600 vehicles each week. In addition, Indiana holds a heavy duty truck
auction once a month on Tuesdays. Both Carolina and Indiana Auto Auctions
are owned by Henry and Patty Stanley. For more information about Christmas
