Cascade Auto Auction Rocks with Two-Day Party Sale

Food, fun, laughs, prizes and an exceptional lineup of cars and trucks made Brasher’s Cascade Auto Auction’s “Comedy Club and Rockin’ 2-Day Party Sale” the event of the season for buyers and sellers in the Pacific Northwest.  Held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 16 & 17, Cascade’s Rockin’ Party Sale attracted dealers in record numbers who bid on over 1500 vehicles.

The event kicked off at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16 with a special sale lineup that included VW Credit, Audi Financial Services, Wachovia Dealer Services, US Bank, Reliable Credit and select dealer consignment.  Dealers enjoyed appetizers in the lane during the sale before enjoying a buffet dinner that included chicken and steak fajitas and New York-style cheesecake.

After the sale and dinner, auction customers gathered in the Cascade Comedy Club where they were entertained by nationally acclaimed comedian Carlos Oscar.

“It was a great evening at the auction, the perfect combination of business and fun!” said Bud McCourt of Bud McCourt’s Auto Sales.  “The selection of vehicles in the sale was outstanding, the food was great, and we laughed until our sides ached!”

To conclude the evening’s festivities, everyone who had purchased a vehicle participated in a drawing for two Nintendo Wii’s.  The winners were Johnny Ephrem from JB Motors and Marty McDonald from Dick Hannah Subaru.

A record number of dealers – 674 – crowded into the auction arena for the main event on Thursday morning.  Free breakfast was served between 7:30 and 9:00, and BBQ lunch was served at 10:30. Featured consignors included Honda and Acura Financial, VW Credit, Audi Financial, Wachovia Dealer Services, Reliable Credit, Columbia Credit Union, United Auto Credit, US Bank, Embarq, Driving Servicing, PHH and GSA.  Thursday’s buyers were entered into sale-end drawings for 6 Wii’s, 4 guitars, cash and auction credits totaling $10,000.

Established in 1993, Brasher’s Cascade Auto Auction holds a consignment sale every Thursday at 9 am, and a public sale every Friday at 2 pm. The auction also participates in Auction Pipeline, where customers may view detailed condition reports, market report information and participate in online sales.
