Honored Tradition Delivers Consignment and Dealers to DAA Northwest
DAA
Northwest's two-day Fall Classic Moose Sale served up 2,700 cars and
trucks and a barn full of buyers. The two-day event featured a
national account lineup that included a closed Ford Factory Sale,
open sale units from Ford Motor Credit Company and vehicles from
GMAC, AmeriCredit, HSBC Auto Finance, Trademark by Triad, Wells
Fargo Auto Finance, Enterprise, Hyundai Motor Finance Company,
Wachovia Dealer Services, Remarketing by GE, ARI and more. The
auction also featured a motor sports auction showcasing
Harley-Davidson Financial Services and a consignment of over 125
bikes.
This
year's moose was brought from Alaska by Greg Mahugh, DAA's general
manager and his friend, DAA's reconditioning manager Len Roll. The
two traveled north in search of Moose Sale "guests of
honor" in early September.

"We were plagued by torrential rains and spent six of the seven
days in our tents, just waiting for the weather to break," says
Mahugh. "Fortunately, on the seventh day, the rain let up and
the moose came out."
"DAA's
promotional event sales consistently deliver market lift, but in the
current economic situation, there are no guarantees," states
Bob McConkey, DAA's president. "This week's Moose Sale produced
a huge consignment and a 45% overall sales rate. We deem that a
success considering all the turmoil that seems to be in the air
these days."
In
November, DAA Northwest will celebrate its 16th Anniversary. The
auction is located in Spokane, Washington and is a member of
AuctionPipeline and the ServNet Independent Auction Group
