DAA
of the Southwest Implements "360 Service" Program
Just
in time for Christmas and ready for the upswing in market activity
moving into 2013, Dealers Auto Auction of the Southwest (DAASW) has
implemented an exclusive customer service program designed to help
auto dealers more efficiently manage the inventory they consign to
the auction. DAASW's 360 Service program is the latest in a series
of innovations at DAASW coinciding with
the facility's 10-year anniversary.
"Our
new 360 Service program creates a seamless information and
communication stream for our consigning dealers," said Jim
DesRochers, auction Vice President. "It links the customer with
the various auction departments through every step of the auction
process, from pre-sale pickup to post-sale delivery, all on a 24/7
basis. It provides our customers with the information they need to
prepare vehicles for auction sale and streamlines the movement of
those vehicles through the various auction departments."

DesRochers
explained that the process begins when a consigning dealer is
contacted by the auction's sales representative about inventory
targeted for sale at the auction. The representative alerts all
auction departments, including transportation, check-in and recon,
and initiates the reporting process that provides
the dealer with vital information about each vehicle. The auction's
Transportation Department then replies with an estimated time of
pick- up to everyone on the distribution, check-in provides updates
once the vehicle arrives at the auction, and the sales
representative responds with a block summary along with
announcements to the consigning dealer for review. The process
continues after the sale with a post-sale PDF block, reports on any
vehicles in the Dealer Guarantee Center after PSI, an estimate of
vehicle transport back to the dealer's store, and information about
the next week's sale.
"We
recognize the role that our customers have played in our auction's
growth over the past decade, and we know that providing superior
service will pave the way for continued success moving
forward," said DesRochers. "Our 360 Service program sets a
new benchmark that will set DAASW apart from the competition for
many years to come."
Founded
in 2003 by industry veterans Brad Sturgeon and Bill Baker, DAASW is
located downtown Phoenix just minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.
