Flint Auto Auction
Named
General Motors Auction of the Year for 2nd Straight Year
For
the second year running, General Motors has recognized the Flint Auto
Auction as winner of its most prestigious honor for its auction
partners --- the Auction of the Year Award. Flint Auto Auction was
recognized out of 40 GM Sponsored Auctions across the country for its
outstanding performance, quality and service on behalf of GM. In GM's
auction standings for 2008, Flint Auto Auction tied with ADESA Fargo
for the top honor. This is the first time in the 25 years of
presenting this award that General Motors recognized two auctions.
The
Flint Auto Auction received its award on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from
Mark Mathews, director, GM, Rental and Used Vehicle Activities.
"I
am pleased to present this award to John Luce and Bill Williams,
co-owners of Flint Auto Auction," said Mathews. "This award
emphasizes the essential role auctions play in the movement of our
vehicles. Flint Auto Auction has given us superb examples of quality
products and excellence. They serve as a role model for other GM
Sponsored Auctions striving to improve their efforts in
reconditioning, repairs and presentation of GM's used vehicles to our
dealers."

"The

dealer's needs," remarked Dan Kennedy, GM national sales
manager. "They sold more than 9,200 vehicles in 2008 and were
