Auto Auction Traces Growth as it Approaches 30th Anniversary
As
Mid-State Auto Auction (MSAA) approaches its 30th Anniversary in the
summer of 2013, the owners and staff look back on 2012 as a huge
growth year for the auction.
In
late April, Mid-State Auto Auction was awarded a contract from GSA,
and held five very successful GSA auctions throughout the summer and
fall.
"The
GSA sales filled a necessary void in the market for late model, low
mileage vehicles for our dealers and the general
public," said Dee Sullivan,
Fleet/Lease Manager at Mid-State Auto Auction.
"It also brought many new dealers from all over the region to
our auction for the first time as buyers and sellers."
In
late summer, MSAA added United Auto Credit Corporation as another
large financial organization in the industry, and has continued to
strengthen its long-term relationship with Westlake Financial
Services.
"Both
organizations offer the type of vehicles which Mid-State has
built a huge dealer network around," said Sullivan. "It has been
a match made in heaven for both seller and buyer!"
Finally,
Sullivan said, Mid-State Auto Auction is proud to announce that it
was recently awarded a contract from the Minnesota Department of
Transportation and will start serving MN-DOT in the very early part
of 2013. Sullivan noted that this opportunity will again bring a
range of vehicles very much needed in the auction's market area.
"Serving
the dealers, leasing companies, financial institutions and
government entities that we have worked with over the past 30 years
has been a great privilege," said Sullivan. "Our
commitment to all of them has never been stronger. It is our
goal to continue serving with passion and to charge fewer fees,
making the experience and end-result one gets with Mid-State Auto
Auction the best value possible."
