ServNet Eyes Organizational Changes
for 2008
The
ServNet Auction Group has announced that it has formed a strategic
alliance with TPC Management Company as part of a long-term growth and
development plan that will launch the group’s 20th
Anniversary year. According to
ServNet’s president, Keith Lelux, TPC Management will provide ServNet
with a full-time executive and administrative staff, headed by Pierre Pons
serving as ServNet’s Chief Executive Officer; Richard Curtis as
Executive Vice President, Industry Relations; Tom Stewart, as Executive
Vice President, Business Development; and Penny Wanna, as Office Manager.
“ServNet’s
Board of Directors has been working diligently for the past five months to
develop a new organizational plan that will best serve the needs of both
our customers and member auctions as well as accommodate the growth we
expect as we move into our third decade,” said Lelux.
“After very frank discussions with a number of our customers last
summer in
Coeur d’Alene
,
Idaho
, we set a primary goal to establish a national headquarters for the
ServNet auction group, with a full-time staff that would include both an
administrative executive and an account management team.
We are very pleased to announce that we will accomplish those
objectives with Pierre Pons and his team at TPC Management.”
Lelux
explained that TPC Management will handle a number of critical
responsibilities for ServNet, including representing the group at all
industry functions and events, coordinating customer exposure, managing
communications to and from national accounts, facilitating meetings,
coordinating brand awareness and sponsorship activities, providing
industry intelligence and managing vendors.
TPC will maintain ServNet’s national office in
Franklin
,
Tennessee
.
“We
are very excited to have this opportunity to work with the ServNet,”
said Pons. “We have worked
closely with many of the auction owners on an individual basis over the
years, and have served as recruiters of record for ServNet, having placed
the last two executive directors. We
are delighted to partner with the group as they mark their 20th
anniversary year and working with ServNet’s board to carry out their
directives. Our experience in
the auction industry has shown us that ServNet auctions stand out not just
from other independent auctions, but from the entire auction community.
Going forward, we are eager to share with the industry our vision
that ServNet Auctions are quite simply the best auctions, from coast to
coast.”
