Brasher's Sacramento Marks 31st Anniversary with Two-Day Auction and
Celebrity Entertainment
Brasher's
Sacramento Auto Auction will celebrate its 31st Anniversary with a
two-day celebration on March 30 and 31, 2009. The event will
kick-off with "Brasher's Live!" on Monday night, when the
auction will entertain customers at an elegant dinner followed by a
performance by comedian Ron Pearson. After the dinner and show on
Monday evening, Brasher's will hold a 500-unit sale, followed up on
Tuesday with more than 2,500 units at what promises to be the
biggest sale of the year.
During
the two-day event, Brasher's will give away more than $50,000 in
cash and prizes, including a custom Mustang.
"We
have a lot to celebrate this year," said John Brasher.
"With the market improving and sales continuing to grow, we're
looking forward to this event as our way of saying thank-you to our
customers for their loyalty and support. We've planned a great
lineup of entertainment and an outstanding vehicle inventory, and
we're looking forward to celebrating our 31st anniversary in a big
way, with great food, great entertainment, and two great
sales!"

On Monday evening, March 30, the auction will host a dinner
at the auction facility featuring international cuisine
catered by three different area restaurants. The auction's
guests will then move to Brasher's own comedy club,
Brasher's LIVE!, for a performance by Ron Pearson, a
comedian, actor and world-champion juggler whom the
Hollywood Reporter describes as a "comic ball of
fire."
With numerous appearances on late-night TV to his
credit, he is also a regular guest star on Two Guys and a
Girl, The George Lopez Show and Boston Legal. |

"If
the first couple of months of 2009 are any indication of a trend in
the market, we're expecting outstanding sales on March 30th and
31st," said Brasher. "We're going to thank our customers
in a big way, and we expect to break all our previous sales records
doing it."
Brasher's
Sacramento Auto Auction holds a weekly consignment sale on Tuesdays
starting at 8:45 am, and bi-weekly Ford Factory sales. It is one of
six auctions owned by the Brasher family, and is a member of the
ServNet Auction Group.
