Auction Marks 30th Anniversary with
Two-Day Auction and Celebrity Entertainment
SACRAMENTO, California – Brasher’s will
celebrate three decades in Sacramento with a two-day 30th Anniversary sale
set for March 24 and 25, 2008. The event will kick-off with
“Brasher’s Live!” on Monday night, when the auction will entertain
customers at an elegant dinner followed by a performance by comedian
Terry Fator, winner of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. After the
dinner and show on Monday evening, the Brasher’s will hold a 500-unit
sale, followed up on Tuesday with more than 3,000 units at what promises
to be the biggest sale of the year.
During
the two-day event, Brasher’s will give away more than $50,000 in
cash and prizes, including a custom ’07 Dodge Charger.
“We
look forward every year to our anniversary celebration,” said John
Brasher. “It’s our way of saying thank-you to our
customers for their loyalty and support. With this year’s lineup
of entertainment and vehicle inventory, we’re confident that our
30th Anniversary will be an event they’ll remember for a long,
long time!”
On
Monday evening, March 24, the auction will host a dinner at the
auction facility featuring international cuisine catered by three
different area restaurants. The auction’s guests will then move to
Brasher’s own comedy club, Brasher’s LIVE!, for a performance by
multi-talented Terry Fator, who delights audiences with his singular
combination of comedy, song, ventriloquism and celebrity
impersonation. In the company of his puppets, Fator wow’d TV
audiences last year on America’s Got Talent with impersonations of
Roy Orbison, Dean Martin,
Garth
Brooks
and Louis Armstrong.
At
the conclusion of the entertainment on Monday evening, Brasher’s
will host a 500 vehicle sale, with consignments from fleet/lease
customers and new car dealers. Then on Tuesday, the auction will
roll out the red carpet for its biggest sale of the year, when more
than 3.000 vehicles will cross the auction block.
“We’re
really looking forward to this anniversary sale,” said Brasher.
“We’re going to thank our customers in a big way, and we expect
to break all our previous sales records doing it.”
Brasher’s
Sacramento Auto Auction holds a weekly consignment sale on Tuesdays
starting at 8:45 am, and bi-weekly Ford Factory sales, and monthly
Chrysler factory sales. It is one of six auctions owned by the
Brasher family, and is a founding member of the ServNet Auction
Group.
