Brasher's Sacramento A/A Unveils New RV, Power Sports Auction Facility
Brasher's
Sacramento Auto Auction has announced that its RV, Marine and Power
Sports division has moved to a new facility and held its first sale
at the new location on Tuesday, November 18 at noon. Located four
miles east of Brasher's Rio Linda auction, the new RV, Marine and
Power Sports facility has both indoor and outdoor storage, expanded
shop space, and comfortable office and customer service areas.
Brasher's
Sacramento Auto Auction established its RV, Marine and Power Sports
auctions in 1987, and has been offering more than 100 units on
Tuesdays at bi-weekly sales. Auctions at the new facility will
continue to be held on alternate Tuesdays starting at noon.
"We
have long recognized the importance of the marine and recreational
vehicle market, and have watched our RV, Marine and Power Sports
auction grow exponentially since we founded it just over 20 years
ago," said auction President John Brasher. "We had reached
the point where we needed more room to continue our growth, and
found the ideal location nearby. With more space for storage and
services, we expect to double our current volume in a very short
period of time."
Brasher
explained that the new facility will accommodate outdoor storage for
hundreds of RV's and marine craft, and also includes interior
storage for 500 motorcycles and other smaller units. The shop space,
with 12 service bays, will expand the auction's capabilities to
provide full appearance reconditioning, mechanical services,
upholstery repair, wash and details, and body-gel coats for boats.
All
RV, Marine and Power Sports units will continue to be sold on the
spot at the new facility, utilizing the Brasher's mobile auction
block, which moves the auction action quickly from one unit to the
next. Vehicles with slides are displayed during the sale with the
slides out to present a roomy and comfortable environment, adding
value to the unit. In addition to fielding bids from buyers present
at the sale, the mobile block is equipped with audio and video
equipment and a computer uplink, making all units available to
online bidders through Pipeline Simulcast. Sacramento's RV, Marine
and Power Sports sale attracts buyers and sellers from all over the
West Coast and beyond.
The
facility is just 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport
and is strategically located near two major Interstates (I-5, and
I-80), easily reached by air, private vehicle or transport. The
auction's bi-weekly RV, Marine and Power Sports sale features a
broad selection of dealer consignments as well as units from leading
institutional consignors, including GE, Capital One, Key Bank
Marine/RV, Wells Fargo Bank, Repo Remarketing, Wachovia, RSA and
American General.
The
new facility is located at 1317 Vinci Avenue in Sacramento. The
office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The facility
is open for inventory pick-up and drop-off from 8 am to midnight,
Monday through Friday. For more information about the RV, Marine and
