Two ServNet Auctions Cited for Superior Performance by AmeriCredit

Two ServNet auctions have been named AmeriCredit Auction of Excellence winners for the June 2009 quarter. Sparkling City Auto Auction in Corpus Christi, Texas emerged as the top auction for AmeriCredit in the Southwest Region, and Brasher's Sacramento Auto auction led the West Coast Region for the remarketer.

"AmeriCredit sets high standards for its auctions across the country," said Dan Heinrich, VP of Asset Remarketing for AmeriCredit. "We appreciate our partnership with Brasher's Sacramento and Sparkling City Auto Auctions, and acknowledge their hard work and dedication. Despite times of change and uncertainty in our industry, both auctions have exhibited a high level of commitment. The auctions' exceptional performance played a significant part in AmeriCredit's success."

For the Auction of Excellence program, AmeriCredit representatives assess each auction's performance in a number of categories, including customer service, marketing promotions, pre-sale activities and overall auction success. An auction must sell at least 100 vehicles for AmeriCredit in a quarter to qualify.

"Receiving AmeriCredit's Auction of Excellence Award is an enormous accomplishment for my staff," said Sparkling City Auto Auction Owner Wade Walker, noting that his auction received the Auction of Excellence Award for the first quarter of 2009 as well. "We've been selling for AmeriCredit since 2003, and have worked hard to produce the very best results for this account. From the moment we receive a pick-up order until the sale proceeds have been paid, there's a member of the auction team tracking every AmeriCredit vehicle through the auction process. We're thrilled to be able to offer these sought-after vehicles at monthly sales, and appreciate AmeriCredit's recognition of our efforts in both the first and second quarters of this year."

Rich Newey, national accounts manager at Brasher's Sacramento Auto Auction shares Walker's enthusiasm for AmeriCredit's vehicle offering, noting that bi-weekly AmeriCredit sales in Sacramento consistently produce high percentage sales.

"AmeriCredit vehicles are an important part of our sale lineup, and a huge draw with the dealers here in Sacramento," said Newey. "AmeriCredit offers an excellent selection of vehicles, and our buyers enjoy the varied promotions that we run with each AmeriCredit sale. We appreciate our relationship with AmeriCredit and the recognition we've received as their Auction of Excellence winner for the second quarter. It's a distinction we will work hard to continue earning so that we can post a superior third quarter for AmeriCredit."
