Sparkling
City Auto Auction Launches New Promotions to Spur In-Lane and Online
Sales in 2010
Following a
spectacular year-end sale highlighted by drawings for a new ’09
Toyota Yaris and thousands of dollars in cash, Sparkling City Auto
Auction has launched an exciting promotional schedule for 2010,
designed to spur both in-lane and online activity.
Auction owner Wade
Walker reports that Sparkling City Auto Auction kicked off the 2010
with another car giveaway to encourage active sales in the lanes.
Walker explained that dealers qualify for the drawing for a
Smart Car every time they buy a vehicle, beginning with the first
sale in January and running through mid-summer.
"We are seeing
good things ahead for the market, and we thought
we’d start the New Year out by sharing our optimism with our
customers. A car
giveaway seemed the best way to do that because it always stirs up
so much excitement,’ said
Walker
. “The Smart Car is certainly capturing its share of attention
these days, and seemed like an ideal giveaway for the summer
months.”
Walker
also announced a promotion for online buyers that will culminate in
a drawing for $1,000.
“Online buying is
increasing at an astounding pace, and we wanted to develop a
promotion to encourage our online customers,” explained
Walker
. He noted that since
the beginning of the year, the auction has been contributing $20 for
every vehicle bought online at Sparkling City Auto Auction. When 50
vehicles have been sold online and the pot totals $1,000,
Walker
will draw a winner from the names of all the dealers who have
purchased those vehicles online.
A
three-time winner of AmeriCredit’s Auction of Excellence Award in
Excellence Award in 2009, Sparkling City Auto Auction is located in
Robstown
,
Texas
, just outside of
Corpus Christi
, and serves the southeastern
Texas
region. Dealer auctions are held each Tuesday at its new, modern 4
lane facility, where consignments from dealers, fleet and lease
companies and financial institutions are offered each week.
