and CA$H Giveaways at Sparkling City Auto Auction Keep Sales Riding

The action continues at Sparkling City Auto Auction, which has
launched a new promotion that will keep dealers in the lane and
sales riding high through the end of the 2009. Auction owner Wade
Walker has announced that the auction will give away a new '09
Toyota Yaris and thousands of dollars in cash at the last sale of
the year, planned for December 22, 2009.
 Walker
explains that dealers began qualifying for the year-end prize
drawings in July, earning an entry for every vehicle purchased at
the auction.
"Dealers
in the lane will qualify for the prize drawings every time they buy
a vehicle," said Walker. "But there's a twist: at the end
of each week's sale, roll is called, and the dealer must be present
to keep all entries for the day in the drawing. If a dealer isn't
present at roll call, those entries are discarded and the dealer
starts all over again. "
"We've
held this kind of promotion before with excellent success,"
explained Walker. "Not only does it motivate dealers to buy,
but it encourages them to stay in the lane until the end of the
sale, which keeps sales strong from beginning to end."
The
cash jackpot will be determined by the number of vehicles consigned
by new and used car dealers between July and December, notes Walker.
"We'll add $1 to the jackpot for every vehicle consigned
through the end of the year. It will be lots of fun to see how that
number grows as dealers bring cars to the sale week after
week."
Walker
added that the cash jackpot will be awarded in one lump sum to one
dealer.
Leading
the region as AmeriCredit's Auction of Excellence for the 1st and
2nd quarters of 2009, Sparkling City has added incentives to
AmeriCredit vehicle buyers. Buyers of AmeriCredit vehicles qualify
for cash drawings up to $1,500 at each AmeriCredit sale through the
end of the year, and will receive double entries for the car and
cash giveaways on December 22nd.
"We've

through the first and second quarters, and expect that this new
promotion will continue the momentum," said Walker. "In

Sparkling
City Auto Auction is located in Robstown, Texas, just outside of
Corpus Christi, and serves the southeastern Texas region. Dealer
auctions are held each Tuesday at its new, modern 4 lane facility,
where consignments from dealers, fleet and lease companies and
financial institutions are offered each week.
