State Line Auto Auction has received the 2007 GM Sponsored Auctions Operational Award. After placing at the top of its region in the first three quarters of 2007, State Line emerged as the national leader for the GM Operational Excellence Award.

Mark Mathews, Director of Used Vehicle Activities for General Motors, traveled to the auction in Waverly, New York on May 23 to make a special award presentation to owner Jeff Barber and members of his staff.

Mathews noted that GM's Operational Award recognizes superior auction performance in a number of areas, including penetration and per-unit profitability of GM FrontLine Ready and GM Sponsored Plus vehicles, purchasing dealers ratio, throughput and remote online purchases.
