ServNet at the Forefront of Innovation, Implementing New Technologies
ServNet auctions continue to develop and implement new technologies to enhance the vehicle remarketing process for both dealers and commercial accounts, reports ServNet's President Eric Autenrieth. The most recent is the launch of Turn Auctions, a mobile-based auction platform with enhanced buyer protections. Developed by Ryan Clark, owner of Greater Rockford Auto Auction, Turn Auctions was launched at Rockford Auto Auction last fall, and is due to roll out this spring at other ServNet auctions, including Akron Auto Auction, Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City, Greenville Auto Auction and Louisiana's 1st Choice Auto Auction.
"At the urging of its independent auction owners, ServNet has been on the cutting edge of some of the industry's most progressive technology," explains Autenrieth. "ServNet Auctions have been innovators since the beginning, and Turn Auctions is the latest in a long line of tools that have been developed, tested and deployed by our auctions. Unlike the other independent auctions who are on islands by themselves, ServNet can deploy technologies across 23 auctions coast to coast, and do so in a way that is customized to each market."
Turn offers 15-minute wholesale auctions taking place seven days a week via its iOS and Android app. Selling vehicles on Turn is open to all commercial accounts, franchise dealers and independent dealers. At the completion of a sale, the selling auction inspects the vehicle and arranges transportation.

Excitement Builds for DAA/OKC's March Madness Sale
The excitement of basketball’s premier event--March Madness--has not only inflamed sports enthusiasts but has super-charged sale day at Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City (DAA/OKC), where dealers are planning for an exciting day of buying and selling at the auction’s March Madness Sale on March 21. With more than 900 vehicles filling the lanes, customers will vie for winning bids, show off their skills in free throw contests, and contend for bragging rights and cash when their favorite team wins on the court.
"March Madness marks an exciting spring market here at DAA/OKC,” said Bruce Beam, General Manager at DAA/OKC. “Dealers will be here in full force on March 21st to bid on the largest weekly vehicle consignment in the state. The full court press will be on with everything from a free throw contest to start the sale, dealer brackets and the chance to win cash at the end of the month!”
The March Madness sale begins with six dealers stepping up to the free throw line to test their skills. Each dealer gets two attempts and receives $100 for making two buckets in a row, or $25 for a single dunk.
At the March Madness event, dealers and guests also have a chance to predict the winner of the March Madness tournament, filling out their own tournament brackets. The dealer with the winning bracket at the end of the tournament takes 70% of the pot, while the dealer with the second-place brackets takes home 30%.
Pizza and hot dogs will be served in the lane, so that dealers can stay in center court during the full run of the sale, which features consignment from Ally Financial/Ally Auto Remarketing, Santander Consumer USA/Chrysler Capital, the AvisBudget Group, Hertz, Thrifty, PAR North America, Littleton Motor, First Fidelity Bank, Weokie Credit Union, ARI, FLD, Flexco, OneMain Remarketing, U-Haul, The Key and more.
"Combining the excitement of March Madness with the optimism we're seeing in the lanes as a result of an energetic Spring market is a slam dunk!" continued Beam. "We're looking forward to a great day of buying and selling at DAA/OKC.
