Greater Rockford Auto Auction Plans 45th Anniversary Event
The GRAA'Lapalooza 45th Anniversary Sale is a two-event that is not to be missed. GRAA is planning its largest sale of the year on July 16th and 17th, with over 1,200 vehicles running through the lanes and $20,000 in giveaways. The event kicks off Tuesday, July 16th at 4:00 P.M. with 250+ vehicles running. After the sale the Screaming Cucumbers will perform at 6:00 P.M. while guests can enjoy dinner and drinks. The fun starts back up at 8:45 A.M. on Wednesday, July 17th at the Main Event, which will feature Credit Acceptance/ VRS, Avis Budget Group, and many more.

Louisiana's 1st Choice Auto Auction kicks off the football season with an exciting event sale, appropriately named The Tailgate Sale on August 20th. At this annual event, the auction encourages employees and customers to support their favorite team by sporting their football swag. Each year the auction brings in a different football talent, and in the past they have hosted Jim Kelly, Devery Henderson, Deuce McAllister, and Tracy Porter. This year the auction is proud to announce that former New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver, Robert Meachem, will be their special guest.
Jacob Warren, General Sales Manager, says, "Our Annual Tailgate Sale is one of our many fun events. The uniqueness of this event sends excitement throughout the region. The football players we host to sign autographs and take pictures with our clients have been enthusiastic and provide a great opportunity for football fans to meet their gridiron favorites."
Warren notes that the annual Tailgate Sale is yet another example of the auction's signature lagniappe: that little something extra that is unexpected.
In addition to hosting celebrity guest Robert Meachem, there will be sweet treats, prizes, and contests for customers. The Tailgate Sale will also close the Float Your Way Through Summer promotion. The auction offers qualified buyers a 28-day free float for fleet lease units during three summer sales: June 11, July 16 and August 20. Root beer floats will be served to beat the heat while working the lanes.
FastLane Auto Exchange Celebrates 41 Years, Plans Summer Events
Summer began early at FastLane Auto Exchange, with its 41st anniversary Sale. The yearly extravaganza was held on May 22nd, and featured over 1000 units running in seven lanes, live music, and a catered meal that included mouth-watering barbecue and Mediterranean food.

Looking ahead as summer is in full swing, the auction is bringing back its Frequent Buyers program, rewarding dealers who purchase 8 or more units with savings on their buy fees. Also to ease the summer temperatures in the lanes in July, FastLane is bringing back the popular Monkey Business ice cream truck.
Finally, to end summer and welcome fall, the auction hosts its 3rd Annual Tailgate Sale on August 21st. This year dealers will qualify to win tickets to the Big 10 Championship game, The Michigan vs Michigan State game, free t-shirts and cash prizes. All attending the sale will enjoy a free corn roast and live music.
Baby Fever Strikes at Akron Auto Auction
Over a few weeks' span late last summer, the employees of Akron Auto Auiction received the exciting news that a co-worker would be expecting a little bundle of joy – not once, not twice, but four separate times! The next nine to ten months months at the auction proved to be an unforgettable time as anticipation continued to build as Gina, Allysa, Kalee, and Caysie’s due dates inched closer and all babies were safe and soundly delivered. (Yes, office pools were made.)
By mid-April, the babies were just under 2 months away from their expected delivery dates and employees at Akron Auto Auction hosted a quadruple baby shower, to honor the mothers-in-waiting, and provide them all with plenty of baby clothes, diapers, and desserts.
"Gina Wallace, Akron A/A's Repossession Assistant was the first to give birth, with Baby Cash making his appearance in the early days of May. Less than four weeks later, Akron A/A office Assistant Allysa Davis (daughter of Akron A/A General Manager Tricia Short) had a beautiful baby girl named Felicity. Only ten days later, Kalee Robinson, AAA Registration Manager, gave birth to Lilyana. Last but certainly not least, Caysie Payne, AAA Office Manager, brought little Finnigan into the world. Four healthy and happy babies--two boys and two girls--all born within 46 days of each other.
On Thursday, July 11th each of AAA’s newest mothers returned to the auction for a special baby meet and greet with friends and family.
It’s safe to say the that next generation at Akron A/A has already begun and is looking bright!
Greenville Auto Auction Waves the Red, White & Blue in July
For Greenville Auto Auction (GAA), the summer months are just another opportunity to provide an exciting atmosphere and fun giveaways. On Wednesday, July 3rd, GAA held its Red, White and Blue Sale. During this sale, the auction grilled hotdogs for their dealers and gave away Costa sunglasses as well as a $250 Maui Jim gift card.
The Red, White and Blue Sale also marked the beginning of the auction's 10-to-Win and 12-to-Win quarterly promotions. For the 10-to-Win promotion, any dealer in the lane purchasing ten or more BB&T/RAC vehicles from July through the end of September will receive a Peter Millar polo. For GAA's online customers, the promotion is called 12-to-Win. Any online dealer purchasing twelve or more vehicles during the 3-month period also wins a Peter Millar polo.
The auction ended up giving away RTIC coolers to fifteen different dealerships, who participate in the auction's two previous promotions from April through June.
BSC America's Tallahassee Auto Auction Holds 35th Anniversary Celebration
Tallahassee Auto Auction Celebrated its 35th year with an Anniversary Sale on Friday, June 21. Buyers and Sellers gathered for the festivities, which included a consignment of more than 500 vehicles and $10,000 in food, prizes and giveaways.
Preparations for the anniversary event began several months ago, as the main auction facility was remodeled to better serve its clients. In addition to the expansive remodel, auction lanes were repainted and landscaping was manicured.
Highlighting the Anniversary Celebration was a special tribute to Wayne Hunt, an independent auto dealer from Dothan, Alabama who has been in the automotive industry for more than fifty years under various dealerships, and who has been a long-time customer at Tallahassee Auto Auction.
"Wayne has spent a lifetime in the industry, and we felt that our anniversary sale was the ideal time to recognize his contribution to the business,"said Tallahassee Auto Auction's General Manager Eric Wagner. "He has not only been a long-time customer, but a great friend to so many of us on both sides of the auction block. We congratulate him on his Golden Anniversary and wish him many more to come!"

Carolina and Indiana Auto Auctions Plan Annual Hog Roasts
Carolina Auto Auction joins its sister auction, Indiana Auto Auction, in hosting their annual Hog Roasts starting on July 31st. This year the two Stanley Autenrieth Auction Group auctions will be Gettin' Piggy With It all month long in August. Dealers receive free t-shirts on the first week of the four-week event, along with weekly grill giveaways including multiple Big Green Eggs, gas grills, and pellet grills.
Dealers can play "Squeal or No Squeal" just before the sale for cash money and enjoy one very large pig-pickin' breakfast on the final week of the promotion at both locations.
Both locations will have large numbers of units also, with 700+ units at Indiana Auto Auction and at least 1100 weekly at Carolina Auto Auction. Dealers can buy in the lane at each location, or online. Sales begin at 9am with multiple Happy Hour lanes, and 10am for the regular full lane schedule.
Carolina Auto Auction kicks off its Caropoly sales event in September complete with $40,000 in prizes for over 600 winners! This event will be unique in that for every vehicle a dealer buys or sells he will receive a scratch-off ticket that could earn him a property piece on the board or be an instant winner.
Indiana will host a Spud Sale with loaded baked potatoes on September 19, and begin its famous Spooktacular event in October with great costumes, cars, cash prizes, and candy.
