Wolfe’s South Bend Auto Auction has been acquired by Great Lakes Auto Auction. Great Lakes Auto Auction is headed by principals Ryan Clark, President and Chad Anderson, Vice President, who are long-time operators of Greater Rockford Auto Auction in Rockford, Illinois.
“I join with all the ServNet owners in congratulating Ryan Clark and Chad Anderson on this acquisition,” said Chad Bailey, ServNet’s president. “They have established a reputation for their dedication to their customers, high standards of service and commitment to the industry. The addition of their new auction in South Bend will build an even stronger presence in one of the country’s leading automotive markets.”
Clark indicated that the South Bend auction will be renamed Great Lakes Auto Auction and will continue holding weekly sales on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM. All members of the auction staff, led by General Manager Brandon Kieffer, will remain and services will continue seamlessly as the auction continues to provide a superior level of service to both auto dealers and commercial accounts in the Great Lakes region. Like its affiliate auction, Greater Rockford Auto Auction, Great Lakes Auto Auction will become a member of the ServNet auction group.
“Great Lakes Auto Auction is a great complement to our existing operations,” said Clark. “We look to build on a strong foundation in South Bend and see significant growth opportunities in the market. Customers can expect the same high level of service we provide at Greater Rockford.”
Chad Anderson added, “We are excited for this opportunity in South Bend and look forward to expanding our service coverage in the Great Lakes region.”
The South Bend facility was founded in 1960, and has operated as a Wolfe auction since 2003. The facility includes four auction lanes, a recently renovated building including additional recon space on fifteen acres. Complete auction services include full reconditioning, an on-site restaurant. The auction is located at 25784 State Road 2 in South Bend, Indiana.
