Dealers Rely on ServNet Auctions to Support Online Sales
Thousands of auto dealers all over the country attend ServNet auctions each week to buy the best inventory available in the wholesale marketplace. Having established strong relationships with their local ServNet auctions that go back years, even generations, franchise and independent auto dealers rely on the personal attention and superior services that have made ServNet auctions consistent leaders in the marketplace.
In today's remarketing world, however, dealers are looking farther afield for the right vehicles to buy, making use of the many digital tools available to them to search for and purchase inventory from areas far beyond their geographic base. The number of vehicles selling online continues to grow at a rapid pace, with some in the industry projecting that upwards of 50% of vehicles at auction will sell in a digital environment in the near future. As dealers add online buying to their arsenal of purchasing tools, they are realizing more than ever before the benefits of doing business with ServNet auctions.
"In the wholesale automotive marketplace, auto dealers are sourcing their inventory nationally in ever-increasing numbers," observes Bruce Beam, General Manager of DAA/OKC, ServNet's Preside-elect, and chairman of the Group's Dealer Relations Committee. "The beauty of purchasing a vehicle anywhere within ServNet's national network of auction is that an online transaction can be made with confidence, with the benefits and support then offered by a dealer's local ServNet auction."

Akron Auto Auction Employee Receives CAR Certification
Akron Auto Auction is thrilled to congratulate Michael Waseity on becoming a Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) by IARA and Akron A/A's first-ever Auction Academy graduate. Waseity, Akron Auto Auction's Repossession and Fleet Lease Manager since 2015, completed Auction Academy's two-year training program in March and was honored alongside his fellow graduates at the 2019 CAR Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"The Auction Academy provided me the opportunity to learn and grow outside of the Akron Auto Auction." says Waseity. "It also allowed me be front and center with industry leaders who have been in business for many years. I was also able see auctions at a different level, regarding both size and operations, as well as how each auction is unique in its own special way, but similar to back home."
"Along with the invaluable visits and interactions, the Academy also equipped us with a ‘study table' to become CAR Certified and Safe T Sam Certified," continued Waseity. "These certificates provided a crash course in safety, wholesale, auctioneering, and arbitration. Having this training allows me to steam ahead compared to people who haven't had the opportunity."
"My Auction Academy experience has laid the foundation for me to lead and grow within the auction walls," Waseity reflects.
Auction President Chad Bailey, who was present at Waseity's graduation in Las Vegas, also commented on Michael's CAR Certification.
"Mike has been a vital part of Akron Auto Auction since joining the team four years ago." says Bailey "His leadership skills and natural ability to build strong customer relationships have proved to be paramount to not only the success and growth of Akron's Repossession Department, but to the entire auction as a whole."
"We all would like to congratulate Mike for receiving his CAR certification" Bailey continues. "We're excited to see him make his own positive impact on the Auction landscape."
