Summer is in full swing at ServNet auctions across the country, where the industry's most notable mega-sales set the bar for innovation and impact on the market, says ServNet's President Eric Autenrieth. Bringing customers together for everything from anniversary sales and rock concerts to summer barbecues and celebrations of the red-white-and-blue, ServNet auctions are building consignments from dealers and national remarketers, positioning their inventory to take advantage of the biggest auction events in the country.

Greater Rockford Auto Auction leads off the season offering its customers a taste of the tropics at its 4th annual Hawaiian Sale on June 20th. The day includes a pig roast, with food served in the lanes all day, a hula hoop contest, and special giveaways as dealers clad in their finest Hawaiian shirts gather in the lanes to buy and sell.
As the calendar nears Independence Day, three auctions are holding Cars & Stars celebrations in June. Clark County Auto Auction's event runs from June 20th to July 3rd, with 750+ vehicles in the lane every week and $7500 in cash, food and prizes. Sister facilities Indiana Auto Auction and Carolina Auto Auction also hold month-long Cars& Stars events in June, with big giveaways set for June 27th at Carolina Auto Auction and June 28tht Indiana Auto Auction, with prizes ranging from American-made Fender guitars and concert tickets to Harley-Davidson collectables, Americana like old coke machines and gas pumps, and sky-blazing fireworks.
Indiana Auto Auction and Carolina Auto Auction follow up in August with another American favorite: a Hog Roast and Sale. Both auctions will give away t-shirts and a new grill every week in August, culminating in a mouth-watering pig-pickin' brunch in the lanes on August 22nd and 23rd.
Other auctions mark major anniversaries at special celebrations during the summer months. BSC America's Tallahassee Auto Auction celebrates 34 years during a two-day event in June. The auction will entertain its customers on June 21st with a Preview Party, that includes a live band, food and prizes, and welcomes customers back on June 22 for the Anniversary Sale, with more than 750 vehicles crossing the block.
Akron Auto Auction hosts a beach-themed sale on June 26th to celebrate its 45th anniversary. Buyers, sellers and employees are packing up their beach attire and making plans to visit Ohio's newest island getaway during the big event. With well over 1,000 vehicles in the lane, commemorative t-shirts, prize drawings, and food provided buy three of the Akron's area's best food trucks, the auction expects its anniversary sale to top the charts as one of the biggest of the year.
Greater Rockford Auto Auction will hold its 44th Anniversary Sale on July 18th. Dubbed the GRAA'lapalooza, the event will include a 1,000 vehicle sale and $18,000 in giveaways. Mid-State Auto Auction follows suit on August 17th with its 34th Anniversary Sale, the single-largest sale of the year in New York Mills, Minnesota, when the auction team has the opportunity to thank its customers who have contributed so much to the auction's success over the years. The auction will fire up the coals for a Hog Roast at the sale, and plans to give away 20,000 in cash and prizes.
State Line Auto Auction has two major events planned for the summer months: its Summer Sizzler Sale on July 20th , with fun summer giveaways in addition to State Line Auto Auction's weekly $2018 end-of sale drawing, and its Dealer Appreciation Sale set for August 17th.
The biggest event of the summer takes place in Spokane, Washington on July 18th and 19th: DAA Northwest's Rock & Roll Sale. Now in its 23rd consecutive year, the Rock & Roll Sale includes a 2,000 unit Wednesday fleet/lease and MotorSports sale, a Wednesday evening concert and party featuring international headliner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee John Fogerty, and a 3,000 unit Thursday sale that culminates with over $75,000 in post-sale prizes.

Big and Rich will perform following KCI's corporate sale on Wednesday evening. The action continues Thursday morning with thousands of cars, exciting in-lane promotions and $20,000 in post-sale prizes.
As the summer winds to a close, Louisiana's 1st Choice Auto Auction has planned one of its major promotions for August 21st, the annual Tailgate Sale, which sends waves of excitement through the region as dealers prepare to cheer their favorite team during the football season. Every year the auction hosts a gridiron favorite at its Tailgate Sale. This year, Super Bowl Hero Tracy Porter will be on hand to talk with customers, sign autographs and pose for photos. The Tailgate Sale will close the auction's Float Your Way Through Summer promotion, when the auction offers qualified buyers a 30-day free float for fleet lease units during sales on July 12th, July 10th and August 21st.
The mega promotion season wraps up in the Fall with two major events at BSC America's Bel Air Auto Auction. The auction marks its first full year in its all-new facility with a Bike Fest on September 13th. Then on October 18th the auction pulls out all the stops for its annual Harvest Sale. Bel Air Auto Auction welcomes dealers from the Eastern Seaboard and beyond to the annual event.
